The Amerasian Justice Project began in 2007.  It is headquartered in Okinawa, Japan.  AJP is a nonprofit, legal service organization that primarily assists non US citizen mothers living in Japan who have children with US citizens.

We offer free and low-cost legal services to low income and disadvantaged citizens in areas including family law, employment and educational rights, housing and consumer issues and immigration.

We also serve as a community-based legal education resource.  AJP encourages citizens to learn about the laws that affect them, their families, their communities and their world.  We produce a series of legal education pamphlets and provide links to useful legal information

Please be patient as we continue to expand the content of our website so we can provide you with informative and educational resources about the legal rights of Amerasian children and their families.
