Amerasian Justice Center

Law Changing Lives

OUR VISION

The Amerasian Justice Project will be a highly accessible, well-respected and visible community resource that women and children can rely on to offer sound low-cost legal advice, education and referrals.   Attorneys, law and college students and community volunteers will empower clients by advising them how to use laws proactively to bring about social change in the interests of equality and justice.

The Amerasian Justice Project is dedicated to representing low-income and vulnerable women and children in Okinawa, Japan.  With special emphasis on Amerasian children, we positively impact our clients’ lives by vigorously representing their legal interests, providing comprehensive community referrals and empowering them with self-advocacy skills through legal education.
