Amerasian Justice Center

Law Changing Lives

Our Goals

We do not know the numbers of Amerasian children and adults  in Okinawa and what their legal needs are.  We will conduct a legal needs survey to understand the numbers and needs of Amerasians.

Provide to all women, regardless or age, nationality, marital status or race, access to comprehensive, accurate legal information they need to protect themselves and proactively manage their lives.

To create grass roots, community education about citizens’ legal rights and current  legal issues that may affect them by partnering with local governments, media and citizen groups.

We aim to serve as a bridge between clients in need and available Japanese and U.S. services in Okinawa by ensuring clients have ready access to non-legal providers for additional support when necessary.
